Purchase and Behaviour Policy for “Children Are Our Future” Gala
Thank you for considering attending the “Children Are Our Future” Gala organized by the Gasol Foundation. Please review the following purchase policy carefully before making your ticket purchase.
COVID-19 Safety Measures
- All guests, including working staff, are required to be vaccinated and will need to show proof of vaccination at check-in.
- VIP guests participating in the VIP tour of the LA Times building are required to take a COVID test upon arrival and test negative. This process will take approximately 30 minutes.
- For the safety of all attendees, masks are required indoors and strongly encouraged outdoors for everyone’s protection.
- The safety and well-being of our attendees are of utmost importance. Therefore, individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms associated with COVID-19 are not permitted to attend the event.
- If you cannot attend the event due to testing positive for COVID-19, please contact us as soon as possible to request a refund. Proof of positive COVID-19 test results may be required for refund eligibility.
Refund Policy:
- Refunds will be provided following these conditions:
- Refunds for tickets purchased by individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are unable to access the event will be issued upon request. In individual cases, they will be either fully refunded or partially refunded depending on the will of the individual.
- Refunds for tickets purchased by corporate organizations will not be processed in any case.
- Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment and may take up to 3 weeks to process.
- No refunds will be provided for tickets purchased by individuals who do not comply with the event’s access requirements, including those related to COVID-19 safety measures.
Security Checkpoint + Form:
- For VIPs entering the building for the tour of the LA Times headquarters, all are required to go through Security, which involves passing through metal detectors.
Ticket Purchase:
- All ticket purchases for the “Children Are Our Future” Gala are final and non-refundable, except in the circumstances outlined below.
- Tickets are subject to availability and may sell out. Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
- Accepted payment methods only include credit cards and Google Pay.
Event Access:
- Admission to the “Children Are Our Future” Gala is only granted to individuals who possess a valid ticket for the event.
- Each ticket grants access to one individual only and is non-transferable.
- The event will take place on April 10, 2024, at the LA Times headquarters, located at 2300 E Imperial Hwy, El Segundo, CA 90245, United States. Doors open at 5:00 pm for Gold level sponsorship guests and 6:00 pm for all other attendees. The event concludes at 8:00 pm.
Admission Fee:
- General Admission: $5,000
- Corporate sponsorship opportunities are available at the following levels:
- Gold Sponsorship: $50,000
- Silver Sponsorship: $30,000
- Bronze Sponsorship: $12,000
California Legislation Compliance:
- This purchase policy complies with the applicable legislation in California, including but not limited to consumer protection laws and regulations.
Additional Information:
- Attendees must be 21 or older to attend the event.
- The dress code for the event is business casual, and attendees are encouraged to dress accordingly.
- The event will take place outdoors.
- Prohibited items include weapons, outside food or beverages, and illegal substances.
- The event program includes a Pau Gasol Meet and Greet and behind-the-scenes LA Times headquarters tour during the VIP hour for Gold Level Corporate Sponsors, speeches from Gasol Foundation President and Gasol Foundation Global Executive Director, Pau Gasol and Cristina Ribes, presentations about the transformative work of the foundation from children and families, an exciting silent auction, compelling foundation video presentations, and exquisite delights.
- Accessibility accommodations are available upon request. Please contact us in advance to arrange any necessary accommodations.
- Event Terms and Conditions:
- Access is not allowed to any person dressed in sports clothes (tracksuit), as well as shorts. Access is also not allowed to any person wearing flip-flops or outlandish clothing or accessories.
- Smoking is not allowed. Please note this event is a smoke-free environment. We ask all attendees to refrain from smoking on the premises.
- People who attend the event must set an example with their behavior, forms, and clothing.
- As part of our commitment to creating a safe and enjoyable experience for all attendees, we have established photography/videography policies, liability waivers, and a code of conduct for the ‘Children Are Our Future’ Gala. Photography and videography may be permitted during the event, but we kindly ask attendees to be respectful of others’ privacy and obtain consent before capturing images or recordings of individuals. By attending the event, all participants agree to adhere to our liability waiver, which releases the Gasol Foundation and event organizers from any liability for accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the event. Additionally, we expect all attendees to conduct themselves in a manner that is respectful, inclusive, and in compliance with our code of conduct, which prohibits disruptive behavior, harassment, discrimination, or any other conduct that may detract from the enjoyment of the event for others. By attending the event, attendees grant the Gasol Foundation permission to take photos and videos for promotional purposes. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
- Accessibility information: Accessibility is important to us, and we strive to ensure that all attendees can fully participate in the ‘Children Are Our Future’ Gala. The event venue is fully ADA compliant, with wheelchair ramps at all entrances, wide doorways, and accessible restrooms equipped with grab bars and ample space for maneuverability. If you require any specific accommodations or have questions about accessibility, please don’t hesitate to contact us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
- Emergency procedures, including evacuation routes and onsite medical assistance, will be provided at the event venue.
